I’m for sure someone who is all about character when it comes to a house, luckily for our future New England is full of beauties like this one above.
In Tilton NH where Seth’s brother lives, the rolling hills are scattered with huge, old Victorian homes. This house is on the Tilton Prep School campus and has been converted to dorms upstairs but the down stairs is incredible and partially captured above.
-Kitchen cabinets convert to open shelving
-Stained glass in the master bedroom
-Hidden nook under the stairs.
Road tripped to New Hampshire.
Simple fact of being able to see the stars out tonight is so amazing.
City living will make you respect and love the little beauties of nature.
oh tumblr, i’ve missed you.
front porch chillin.
I haven’t posted on here in almost a month.
things have been crazy.
life has just been happening.
i’ve felt like i have been having a mid life crisis, but nope.
i’m just growing up.
that job offer I turned down? wasn’t turned down at first.
my inner naive self said yes, right off the bat, just as I had in the face of every job offer/career move I have ever made. that’s what lead me from Ralph Lauren to JCrew to H&M to M.A.C, back to JCrew and in Northern VA.
each one of those moves brought me more money but in return gave me so much stress, which was fine when I was single.
this was the first time I had more to think about than just myself. and it was weird. no I don’t have kids or a husband. but I do have two pups and a boyfriend whom im “playing house with” and for the first time complete serenity.
so here’s to a summer in Clarendon.
